A little bit about the owner Colin Turner started his career as a builder/carpenter spending 25 years in the trade. In 2004 he furthered his education and completed the training required to become a fully qualified Pest and Building inspector, and purchased the Homecheck Property Inspection business. Each year Colin attends the Rapid Solutions “Risk Management Conference” to upgrade his credentials and to ensure he keeps abreast of what is happening in the industry. At these conferences he attends various sessions to learn about the latest technology available to Pest and Building Inspectors, any changes in the industry, and to sharpen the skills required for detection of pests and relative building faults.In other words, you can be confident Col knows what to look for! What can you expect from Homecheck? When making a booking with Homecheck you can select either a Pest or Building Inspection, or both. Once the inspection is complete the Pest and Building Inspection report that you receive from Homecheck Property Inspections will be sent to you in electronic format, usually to your email address or if you do not have one, to your solicitors. A hard copy can be mailed out to you upon request. The purpose of the report is to provide advice to a prospective purchaser or other interested party regarding the condition of the property at the time of the inspection, assisting you to make a more informed decision as to whether to proceed with the purchase. The report consists of a detailed account of the visual inspection, outlining areas of concern or maintenance required on the property, some photos to display items referred to, and any safety hazards or recommendations which may require attention. Colin is also available to discuss any areas of concern you may have in regard to the inspection report. What is offered?
